COLUMBUS — A day after seizing computer hard drives and electronic devices from more than a half-dozen employees in the state attorney general's office, state Inspector General Tom Charles promised a thorough investigation into "everything and anything."
Charles has already met with the Ohio Highway Patrol, Ohio Ethics Commission and Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien and is extending an invitation to any other entities looking into Dann's administration.

"We're going to look at everything and anything. We may find things down the road that we're not aware of today," Charles said Thursday, May 15.
The General Assembly put an extra $250,000 into Charles' budget to cover the costs.
Dann, a 46-year-old Democrat, resigned on Wednesday, nearly two weeks after a stunning 52-page report substantiated allegations of sexual harassment and cover-up. Dann admitted an extramarital affair with a 28-year-old employee and acknowledged that his behavior may have sent the wrong message to his subordinates.
