FAIRFIELD — A 27-year-old man died in a single-car crash when he was ejected from the car, police said.

Trauma to the head likely was the cause of death, according to the Butler County Coroner's Office.
Police said the driver, whose name has not been released due to a pending police interview, lost control of the Nissan Altima after hitting a curb.
Witnesses said the car rolled several times and struck a pole, according to a police report.
Coroner's investigator Clint Nigg said preliminary autopsy reports indicate Brock's head trauma likely was caused when he struck the ground after he was ejected. Final autopsy results won't be known for four to six weeks, he said.
The driver was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where his condition was not released.
Fairfield police said the driver was wearing his safety belt, but Brock was not.
