WEST CHESTER TWP. — The Ohio Department of Agriculture's aerial treatment for gypsy moths in West Chester and Liberty townships could take place some time in the next two weeks. ODA officials said they intend to spray 321 acres in the townships over a 10-minute period one morning in the first two weeks of May. Wind, humidity, leaf growth and temperature are being monitored, as they all must fall within certain paramaters for the spraying to be successful.
Homeowners in the affected part of the townships can contact the ODA at (800) 282-1955, ext. 37 or West Chester Twp. at (513) 777-5900.
