An eight-foot boa — frozen solid — was found this morning near the Great Miami River bike path in Middletown by McGraw-Kokosing Inc. employees.
While clearing debris from the recent flooding, and filling a sinkhole, employees said they saw the snake lying on the ground. They thought the snake may have been trying to get out of the cold weather by slivering into the nearby AK Steel water pump house.
Extras
It was unclear where the snake came from, or how long it had been dead. Similar snakes were stolen several months ago from a Central Avenue tattoo parlor, but they were all recovered.
