A new Liberty Twp. neighborhood is aiming to show potential clients that buying a new home can be a personal experience.
Liberty Grand Villas, 6910 Hamilton-Mason Road, plans to conduct a grand opening celebration Aug. 22-24 to highlight the upscale two-bedroom and three-bedroom condominiums, which allow clients to choose from four custom kitchen styles.
Those styles can be modified further with extra storage cabinets, planning area, beverage cooler or a double-oven baking center.
Lynda Bockrath, a sales consultant, said that flexibility means more entertainment and living space.
"Even in the market we're targeting, there's still a lot of entertainment going on," she said. "I think it allows for that. Like in the kitchen area, people do gather there quite often and enjoy that living space."
Prices for each of the units start at $250,000, which includes vaulted ceilings, kitchen pantry, gas log fireplace, attached two-car garages and energy-saving appliances. An optional upstairs "Grand Suite" can add more than 500 feet of space. Customized options are available for a sun room, terrace or an office with a built-in desk. "Smart space" can be transformed from one purpose into something else, depending on the need.
Bockrath said the four-units-to-one-building design offers "a lot of community."
"The prospects I have coming in here are looking for a new lifestyle, entertaining, interacting and having a social gathering with their neighbors," Bockrath said.
Those gatherings can take place at a private clubhouse replete with a swimming pool, media center, fitness room, billiards table and a large social gathering space, said sales consultant Christine Guerin.
Another selling point for the development? No outside upkeep or maintenance to worry about.
"There's no plowing, shoveling, lawn care or painting," Guerin said.
The grand opening celebration will feature extended hours, food and beverages and a variety of promotions throughout the weekend.
"This will give (people) the opportunity to take it all in and see what an exciting community it's going to be," Bockrath said.
