MidSummer Fest slated for Friday

Sinclair Community College Courseview Campus, with the city of Mason, Northeast Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce and the Mason Area Arts Council will present MidSummer Fest, featuring music, art and science wizardry from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 20 at Sinclair Courseview Campus in Mason.

Extras

There will be outdoor performances by Team Lachey, May Festival Youth Chorus, Sinclair LIFE Choir, and Sinclair Community Band.

There also will be exhibits from Cincinnati Art Museum and artwork from local artists, science and technology demonstrations, and activities for children.

Admission is free. Food and drinks will be available.

The campus is at 5386 Courseview Drive, Mason.

Have your pets blessed Saturday

Area veterinarians and the Greyhound Rescue members will celebrate our furry and not so furry friends, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 21 at Deerfield United Methodist Church, 2757 W. U.S. 22, Maineville.

Bring your pets — dogs, cats, birds, fish, iguanas, whatever makes your family whole to be blessed by pastor Heather and pastor Linda Troy. There will also be a dog wash. Donations will be accepted for Greyhound Rescue.

Learn about genealogy through library class

Take the mystery out of searching for members of the family tree with free genealogy classes.

Classes are from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays through July 23 at the Warren County Genealogical Society Library, 406 Justice Drive, Lebanon. Classes will be taught by Dana Palmer. Tours of the Edna L. Bowyer Warren County Archives and the Warren County Recorder are planned.

Fenwick Festival begins Friday

Enjoy rides, games, food and more at the Bishop Fenwick High School Festival, 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, June 20; 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, June 21; and 4 to 10 p.m., June 22 at the school. A spaghetti dinner will be available on Sunday.

Bishop Fenwick High School is at 4855 Ohio 122 in Hunter.

St. Columban offers festival this weekend

The St. Columban Parish Festival offers a home-cooked fish fry Friday, chicken and steak dinners Saturday and Sunday. There will fireworks on Saturday night, in addition to live music, games, rides and more 6 to 11 p.m., June 20-21; 2 to 9 p.m., June 22.
