Namely, they are a great way to meet and bed women, so they moonlight as Wedding Crashers, assuming the guise of invited guests and enjoying the food, drink and extremely available females in an array of ethnic persuasions.

When they up the chutzpah level by crashing the nuptials of the daughter of Cabinet secretary Christopher Walken, John falls hopelessly in love with another daughter (Rachel McAdams, The Notebook) and Jeremy is in way over his head with her sister (Isla Fisher), a suddenly randy filly. They become involuntary guests at the secretary's Kennedy-esque retreat on the Maryland shore, where they try to maintain their cover-story identities.

Wilson and Vaughn are an inspired comic team, with Vaughn earning most of the laughs with his motormouth monologues and physical pratfalls.

Director David Dobkin leads them along skillfully, refusing to stoop to stupidity. If anything, he lets the proceedings get too sloppy sentimental in the overlong final third, as the guys clean up their act and get romantic.
