New Year's Eve festivities are underway aboard the luxury cruise ship Poseidon when a rogue wave — a wall of water 150 feet high — slams into the ship, capsizing her. In the aftermath, survivors trapped inside must choose whether to wait to be rescued or to fight their way through the crippled ship to reach the surface.
