"Whatever you finally conclude about Treadwell, Herzog has made a one-of-a-kind movie."

Austin American-Statesman: 4 of 5 stars
"It raises endless questions about being a mindful human, about good intentions taken too far, and about our fragile relationship with nature and how much it remains a mystery perhaps best left unsolved."

The Palm Beach Post: B+
