Rove to speak at Miami

OXFORD — The Miami University College Republicans will host former presidential adviser Karl Rove Wednesday, Oct. 8, to speak on the presidential election.

Rove served as assistant to the president, deputy chief of staff and senior adviser to President George W. Bush from 2001 until 2007. In addition to his White House appointment, Rove served as chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney 2000 and Bush-Cheney 2004 presidential campaigns.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in Hall Auditorium. Tickets are available at Miami's Shriver Center Box Office starting Wednesday, Oct. 1, for students and Friday, Oct. 3, for the general public. Tickets are free.
