CINCINNATI — Gold Star Chili restaurants of Cincinnati are seeking locals to be part of a “Cincinnati-style chili” illustration. Artist/illustrator C.F. Payne will produce the illustration, which will include imagery from Gold Star Chili restaurants, visions of classic Cincinnati-style dishes, and local residents as models, according to a release.

Gold Star Chili is calling local residents to submit a photo of themselves in a Gold Star Chili restaurant eating a Cheese Coney, 3-, 4- or 5-Way or a bowl of chili. Photos, names and e-mail addresses must be e-mailed to info@goldstarchili.com by Jan. 31 to be considered.

Gold Star will select 12-18 local residents to be a part of Cincinnati art.

The completed illustration will be reproduced and installed in Gold Star restaurant locations and advertising in 2010.
