This easy recipe from a fellow food editor Patricia Mack is always a hit at summer parties, when local cherry tomatoes are in season.
2 pints cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup cilantro, minced fine
1/2 cup coarse sea salt
1/2 cup tequila
juice of 1 lime
Pull the stems from the cherry tomatoes. Combine the cilantro with the salt in a small bowl. Combine the tequila and the lime juice in another bowl.
Tell guests to dip the tomatoes in the tequila, then into the seasoned salt. It's addictive!.
