HAMILTON — Some residents of Dayton Lane will tell you that they're not the only ones who call the historic district home.
Ghosts and events from the past are said to haunt the neighborhood, which dates back to the 1850s. The public is invited to hear some of those tales and see the homes during the sixth annual Ghost Walks of Dayton Lane tour on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The stories of ghosts were so ubiquitous that seven years ago, the Dayton Lane Historic Area Inc. hired Victor Paruta, a Cincinnati man who claims to be a psychic, to investigate.
Paruta said there are indeed ghosts there, but that's not unusual for a historic neighborhood.
Paruta recently was called upon by Dan and Jan Graham to investigate some mysterious occurrences at their Dayton Street home, which was added to the tour this year.
Paruta said he determined that a ghost resides in the house, but it's not a scary one. The Grahams said that was comforting to hear.
