did you see mrs.obama dancing on the stage with ellen degenerate? i know there a lot of issues involved this time (as always} but could you imagine ellen being invited to the white house with her friends to a weekend party? God forbid. May as well have bill and monica back. remember all the taxpayers money spent on that?

My question to Mrs. Paulin: Why isn’t Republican party hitting on Obama’s illegal campaign funds from Iran or the 29,000 he received from two brothers (reportedly Hamas supporters) in Rajah in Gaza strip? Obama lied on FEC form and said they came from “Rajah, Georgia USA”. Exceeding the FEC cap of 2,300. is yet another law being broken. Why aren’t you incorporating any of this criminal behavior in your campaign against him and why haven’t FEC complaints been filed

To anyone who needs a better economy, You’re NOT going to get it from McCain. The Democratic Party is for the working man. McCain is anti-union and voted against collective bargaining over and over! He may be a “war hero” but when he came back home, Veterans Benefits amounted to a lot more than they do now. In the recent past, he’s voted to CUT Veterans Benefits - HE doesn’t need them anymore, so why not? Some Hero!

All I said was that you dems are the ones who put Obama in as your candidate, you have every opportunity to win this election following what many beleive to be 4 failed years of Bush polices, and you were so stupid that you elected the one person that McCain can beat. So dont get mad at no one but yourself if he gets beat, which he probably will (have you seen the polls today? 10 point lead!) Any of your other candidates could have beat McCain easily, hey dems, keep votin for the rock stars.

My question for the candidates, How can we return jobs to Ohio that were lost due to Bill Clinton’s NAFTA? YES, unions, your jobs were lost to Mexico because of the democrats not the republicans. (Although the first Bush signed the treaty, it was Clinton who pushed for it’s passage through the legislature and went into effect under the Clinton watch.) You may want to rethink your union’s endorsements of Obama/Biden.

Hey CHOP - Wake up and smell the coffee! Most of us have had our share of the Bush’s (both of them). A lot of us do NOT like Hillary Clinton anymore. By the time she finally let go, she had done a lot of damage to the Democratic Party because she put her own interests first! Also, McCain may have military experience, but he also voted to cut Veteran’s benefits along with Bush! Those who are fighting now are our future Veterans! When they come back they’re going to need jobs and health care!

Questions for Palin-If you become the VP, prioritize this country’s problems and how you would attempt to fix them?Do you think that your small time experience as Gov.of a lightly populated state,mayor of a town of 7,000 and half hearted “military” experience over the Alaskan Guard gives you enough time on the job to tackle a big league job like the VP?Isn’t this like saying that because I played Pee Wee football,that I’m now ready for the pros?At least Obama has made it to the pro training camp

For Steve (& anyone else reading). I feel no need to justify myself by explaining why I followed the rules of asking a question to be answered at the rally tommorow. NO ONE ISSUE is the reason to select a President or VP. In the case of McCain and Palin it is OBVIOUS they are more qualified but I felt compelled to ask a question as the Journal offered. The Obama group is spending a lot of $$ on mailings on the issue of abortion (I have received 2!) and want to know what to believe. Thanks.

The question was “What’s the one thing you want to know from the candidates?” All I read are rantings, ravings and opinions. I would like to know if McCain and Palin are “Pro Choice” OR “Pro Life” in the question of abortion. Obama is sending out literature and I’d like to have a straight answer on their stance from them directly. Thank you.

Its pretty scary to think that Obama has less experience than Palin, he is a junior senator and has never ran a company or major state or served in the armed forces. It has nothing to do with wanting change, either party. The world is a fast changing place, look at Europe and Georgia. Do you really want a leader to have no experience? Our economy needs a boost, no doubt about it but if you think that Russia, China, Iran etc are our life long friends, you best think again.

I sincerely hope those of you who vote, hear all the sides of our elected officials. Here’s how I see it: Obama-No experience either in military or government, wants to raise taxes (can we stand that) can’t even cross his heart when he makes a pledge of alligence to the flag, is friends with known criminals and no clue about when life begins. McCain- has previously had military experience and knows what its like to be a captive in another country, wants to balance the budget, wants change.

After much careful research, I have concluded that I will be supporting the McCain-Palin ticket in the Presidential election. These two are the only candidates with executive experience. When I researched O’Bama-Biden I found their Senatorial experience lacking. They missed many important votes. When they did vote,it was for special interest groups. Even then they flip-flopped on their views on those votes. We need strong leaders who are not afraid to stand up for us-the average American.

Wake up you liberal whiners. Have you looked at Middletown lately? Is there anything that is noce about the city? Your Bush didn’t do anything for it but neither did Clinton or anyone else. If you want the city to change , YOU have to do it. At least Mccain and Palin are willing to work with both parties. We all have as much experience as Obama.

You people need to do your homework. If you were in the military, would you like your cammandor in chief to be from the Senate and NO military experience or a veteran from a mititary family??? I for one would want someone who has managed a military base. This is true for McCain and Palin. Palin has been overseas visiting troops, more than Obama and she is over the Alaskan Guard, which protects the whole United States. Research before you speak out against someone you nothing about.

As a former resdident of Middletown and Ohio, born there in 1940, I urge you all to vote this election for your pocketbook. That is why I had to come to Texas, for work. Poor Ohio has been in the rust belt for years. I remember as a child they would come from Eastern Kentucky to work at ARMCO and within a few years be in the middle class. Can that take place today? I do not think so. Back then ARMCO employed about 4 out of ever ten people in the town. The city was almost 90% middle class.

I ask you Vet if McCain is ready for office, as he was a state senator with virtually no record and has spent almost all his national senate time running for office. What made John Edwards ready when he ran with Kerry- that he was a tort trial attorney? She’ll be surrounded by an excellent team. Obama will surround himself with those who’s political favor he curried while running and the markers to be paid for getting Clinton on board.

OK, so far I’ve read where Palin is a “mother and a woman”and “can bring something to politics”, whatever that means???Why does that make her special? What do we all know about her so far?- We know that she hunts, likes to have alot of kids, is pro-life,is pro-gun ownership,and ordered her brother-in-law fired because she didn’t like what he did to her sister. She has little military experience(Alaskan Guard) and has managed small time town and state budgets. Is she really ready for VP?
