Obama office opening Sunday in Uptown Oxford

Oxford Mayor Prue Dana will cut the ceremonial ribbon that will formally open the Obama-Biden campaign office in Uptown Oxford.
The grand opening is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at 32 W. Walnut St., the building attached to Oxford Real Estate and behind The Oxford Press.
Both Michael Coleman, mayor of Columbus, and Richard Cordray, the treasurer of the state of Ohio and current candidate for state attorney general, have been invited to speak at the office opening.
Campaign updates will be provided by Obama-Biden Regional Field Director Christen Young and by Oxford Field Organizer Patrick Frank, a former Miami University student.
The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. Its telephone number is (513) 571-7468. The Obama-Biden campaign office is fully funded by contributions from Oxford residents.
Obama-Biden buttons, bumper stickers, rally signs, and yard signs will be distributed. All people, including children, are warmly welcomed at the opening.
