Easy crock pot roast beef

1 4 to 5-pound rump roast

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 cup A-1 Steak Sauce

1 medium onion, sliced thin

Place roast in crock pot. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and steak sauce. Brush the sauce mixture over the meat, covering well. Put onion slices on top of the meat. Cook for 4 hours on high. You can also bake this in a 350-degree oven for 11/2 to 2 hours, or until an inserted meat thermometer reaches 140 degrees.

Yield: 8 - 10 servings.
