Thank you for helping to spread holiday cheer by voting for your favorite holiday songs and carols — as sung by these brave local residents.

We told readers that we wanted to see, and hear, them decking the halls, jingling bells, ho ho ho-ing and otherwise sharing their best year-end voice with our readers. Families, school, religious and community groups and individuals were invited to enter our Singing in the Holidays Contest.

All entries were reviewed by our staff, which selected these finalists whose video or audio recordings of their performances have been posted on our Web site.

You can still watch, listen to your favorite performer. The top vote-getter is shown in the poll below and will be featured later in December in the newspaper.
