  The Oxford community was treated to the "Celebration Brass - Random Acts of Music" Friday night at the Oxford Cummunity Arts Center. The five member ensemble played an assortment of Christmas songs as well as interacted with the crowd teaching them about the different instruments.

• Gretchen Wilson concert

  Country music performer Gretchen Wilson, the "Redneck Woman," performs at Oxford's Brick Street on Friday, Nov. 18. Oxford native Ryan Broshear was the opening act for the evening.

• Fundraiser for Middletown Symphony

  A high tea and fundraiser event took place for the Middletown Symphony Orchestra Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2011 in Middletown. The event was hosted by the Lollipops Committee and included a fashion show of designer hats as well as jewelry and purses.

  Families both local and visiting, Miami University students, youth, pets and everyone else in need of relaxing evening socializing in Oxford's Uptown Parks came to listen to the Ohio Army National Guard Band for Oxford's Summer Music Festival on July 7.

  The 25th annual Oxford Summer Music Festival opened up the season on a beautiful summer's evening on Thursday, June 9, in the Uptown Park. The Festival continues, featuring new musicians in each installment, for the remainder of the summer.

  Columbus-based band New Hollow performs for fans Sunday afternoon, April 17, 2011 at Bridgewater Falls in Fairfield. The band played inside of Justice and signed autographs after.
