Goodbye frustration, to the tune of 20-3
On Friday, the Wright State baseball team welcomed Wisconsin-Milwaukee to town for a matchup of the top two teams in the Horizon League. WSU, first in the league, lost 9-6.
Think they might’ve been a little upset?
In unleashing their frustration, the Raiders pounded Milwaukee for 20 runs, including 12 in the first three innings, to win the first game of a Saturday doubleheader 20-3.
Lost in the offense, though, might’ve been the effort from WSU starter Casey Henn, who allowed two runs on four hits in six innings in improving to 6-0.
WSU (25-20, 13-6) then lost the second game of the doubleheader 10-7. Milwaukee improved to 23-20 and 11-7.
