Can Chloe from ‘24’ save Ohio?

We all know Jack Bauer is the star and the muscle of television’s ‘24,’ but Chloe O’Brian is as heroic, brave and smart as he.

So on Monday night, we’ll need Chloe to help save Ohio.

Fictional Ohio, of course.

But even if it was real Ohio, I’d rest easy. Chloe is a extremely irritable, deadpan, monotone of a character, but she’s also spectacular. She’s saved the world several times while juggling many other duties. This past week, during a deep cover operation, she put a mike on a prime minister who asked her if she was in the FBI: “No, I’m a stay-at-home mom,” she said.

Chloe makes you think women can have it all. And save the world.

The fictional computer expert’s heroism has received little thanks from the fictional ‘24’ government, but the real government has honored her.

Former Department of Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff named a program aimed at keeping commercial airliners safe Project CHLOE.

So TV Ohio can relax. This Monday, Kidron, Ohio is featured as a target of a terrorist attack. TV Kidron is a 30,000-population community with some sort of power plant, facing the loss of 18,000 citizens. Real Kidron, in the heart of Amish country in Wayne County, has no more than 6,500 residents.
