Carvers to team with Ardie, Mercer Estates for wine dinner
WASHINGTON TWP., Montgomery County — Carvers Steaks & Chops, 1535 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, will host a wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, with special guests Rob Mercer, owner of Mercer Estates wines in Washington State, and Ardie Bonanno of wine distributor 55 Degrees.
The menu includes Pacific Jumbo Prawn Prepared in a Peruvian-Style Ceviche and served over Yuca Root, with 2009 Mercer Riesling; Traditional Vichyssoise of Potato and Leek, served with Mercer 2009 Chardonnay; House-Carved Filet Mignon with Tomato-Basil Risotto, served with Mercer 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon; and Chocolate Creme Brulee with a Hint of Ancho Chile served with 2007 Mercer Merlot.
