‘Taste of Wine’ to host famed Chateau Montelena tasting tonight

The Taste of Wine wine bar and wine shop at 90 South Main St. in Miamisburg will host a tasting of wines from the acclaimed Chateau Montelena Winery from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. TONIGHT, Wednesday May 25.

The winery’s national sales manager, Brian Baker, will be on hand to taste Montelena’s Riesling, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Napa Valley Cab, and Estate Cab. You’ll recall the infamous 1976 Paris tasting that shocked the world (well, shocked France, anyway) and put Montelena on the forefront of California wines.

The tasting costs $25, and RSVP’s are “appreciated,” according to the wine shop’s owners. Call 937-247-1120 for more information.
