DAYTON — Jay’s Restaurant, 225 E. Sixth St., will host a charity fundraiser wine event from 1 to 4 p.m. May 1. The Sunday food-and-wine event is titled “For the Love of Wine” and will benefit Camp Emanuel, a southwest Ohio summer camp for hearing-impaired and developmentally impaired youths. Dozens of wines will be sold through both live and silent auctions, and the 35th annual event includes a buffet-style lunch and the opportunity to sample from more than 40 wines. Tickets are $55 per person. Contact George Punter at (937) 436-3424 or Nan Crawford at (937) 312-1012 for tickets and information.
