Special Cuvee tasting tonight, Cork & Vine event Thursday highlight mid-week tastings list
The intrepid Dayton-based wine listserv overseers have worked their magic again in the form of this mid-week wine-tastings list that offers a revealing glimpse into what wines we’re sampling here in the frozen heartland of America. Note two tastings tonight — a special Long Shadows tasting from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Cuvee Wine Bar in Bellbrook, and the Wednesday night tasting at the Wine Gallery & Cafe in downtown Dayton. Thursday night brings a special wine-and-food event at Cork & Vine Wine Market & Lounge off Miller Lane in Butler Twp. at 6:30 p.m., featuring 80 or so wines, with food and live music; and the Thursday night tasting at Dorothy Lane Market’s Washington Square store — not to mention a beer event at the new Kroger store in Beavercreek.
Then it’s Friday, and all hell breaks loose — in a good way, of course. Until then, here’s the best mid-week tastings list in the land:
