February looms and wine tastings glisten
Sure it’s cold. Sure it’s snowy. Sure it’s icy.
It’s Ohio in January. And February.
But a Dayton-based wine listserv brings the heat in the form of this wine tastings and events list that Uncorked is pleased as punch to copy and paste every Friday.
Looking for a highlight? Consider the Barolo and Barbaresco wine luncheon tomorrow (Jan. 31) at Jay’s Restaurant. Not only does the menu sound good, but Michael Brown says his boss, Vintner Select owner and president Gordon Hullar, is scheduled to attend to share his expertise on the majestic nebbiolo-based wines of Italy. And Hullar knows a thing or two about Italian wines.
