Dayton Racquet Club celebrates 40 years
DAYTON — The Dayton Racquet Club, a private restaurant and athletic club on the top floor of the Kettering Tower at 40 N. Main St. in downtown Dayton, will celebrate its 40th anniversary from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30.
The event will include an array of hors d’oeuvres, complimentary beer and wine, a specialty bar featuring a signature anniversary cocktail and live entertainment. Original members of the Dayton Racquet Club will be honored for their contributions to the founding of the club. There will also be a “giving tree” at the event in partnership with Agape for Youth, Inc, a non-profit foster care, adoption and reunification agency.
“We are proud to have been an integral part of the business and social lives of Dayton’s community leaders for the past 40 years,” said Dayton Racquet Club General Manager Kevin Round. “The dramatic view from the Racquet Club continue to serve as an inspiration to what our region is, and to what it can be in the future. As we look forward, the club remains poised to support our members’ goals and aspirations of making Dayton a better place to work and live.”
The event is open to all club members, and members are encouraged to bring non-member guests. Admission is free for club members, $20 per person (includes tax and tip) for guests of members Reservations are required.
