It’s OHC vs. CCC this weekend

This weekend, the top two teams in both the Cross County Conference and the Ohio Heritage Conference will face off in boys basketball.

Tonight, OHC champion Greeneview (19-2) will face CCC champion Miami East (21-1) in a D-III sectional final at Tippecanoe High School.

The teams met in the sectional final last season with the Rams beating Miami East 57-43.

The Rams have won 10 in a row since losing to Catholic Central on Jan. 15, beating every team by double digits. The Pirates have won 16 in a row since falling to Troy on Jan. 5.

On Saturday, the second-place teams from both conferences will face off when Catholic Central (17-5) faces Franklin-Monroe (20-1) on Saturday in a D-IV sectional final at Troy.

The Irish are 5-4 in their last nine games. The Jets’ only loss came to Miami East on Feb. 15.
