Witt men climb to No. 17 in D3Hoops.com poll

The Wittenberg men’s basketball jumped from No. 25 to No. 17 in this week’s D3Hoops.com poll after beating Wooster 76-72 on Saturday.

At 17-5, the Tigers are one spot ahead of No. 18 Wabash. Wittenberg plays at Wabash at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with a chance to clinch a share of the North Coast Athletic Conference regular-season title.

Wooster (21-2) fell from No. 4 to No. 5.
