DeWitt named Central girls hoops coach

Steve DeWitt is headed from the football field to the gymnasium.

Catholic Central’s longtime football coach will take over the girls basketball program next season.

He replaces Dave Schlicher, who coached the squad for three seasons. The Irish finished 4-16 last season, facing a myriad of injuries the entire year.
