Tecumseh loses in overtime
Tecumseh lost 65-57 in overtime. Arrows couldn’t maintain their momentum from the fourth quarter. They finish their season 14-7.
- Game is tied, 52-52. Zach Rapp just hit a 3-pointer after Sidney missed a free throw that would have ended the game.
Sidney turned it over to end regulation.
With 19 seconds to go, Tecumseh is down 52-49. Arrows are fouling now.
The score is tied 46-46 with 2:40 left. Dustin Holmes just converted a 3-point play for a brief Arrows lead, only to see Sidney drop a 3-pointer.
- Sidney’s up 40-33 at the start of the fourth quarter. Tecumseh was down one (32-31) but Sidney has settled in.
Hold on: Tecumseh is down 32-29 with 2:30 left in the third quarter. The Arrows have found their range and hit a couple 3-pointers and are now the aggressors.
- Tecumseh trails Sidney 28-18 at halftime at UD Arena.
Karson Williams has six points and has missed just once. Otherwise, the Arrows look confused on offense. Sidney is playing physical basketball, so the Arrows will have to match that intensity in the second half.
Sidney’s up 23-12 after a barrage of scoring. Tecumseh can’t seem to find any rhythm on offense. The Arrows just called a timeout with 3:49 left in the half.
After one quarter, Sidney leads Tecumseh 12-8 at UD Arena. Karson Williams has four points. His two buckets late in the quarter ended a five-minute scoring drought for the Arrows.
Midway through the first quarter, Sidney leads 10-4. Sidney is more aggressive on the boards so far, and is getting points in transition.
I’ll be posting live updates from UD Arena during the Tecumseh-Sidney boys basketball game. We’re about five minutes from tip. Check back for updates.
