Tecumseh’s wins 49-7

10 p.m.: Tecumseh leaves Urbana with a 49-7 win. It’s the Arrows’ first win in Urbana since 2001.

9:22 p.m.: Tecumseh’s up 42-0 heading into the fourth quarter. I’ll post the final score when it’s over.

9:15 p.m.: Tecumseh’s running away with this one. Riley Gault just scored on a 22-yard run for a 35-0 lead. About four minutes left in the third.

9 p.m.: Tecumseh scored on the first drive of the second half for a 28-0 lead. Riley Gault hit Ryan Christmann on a 15-yard score.

  • Tecumseh is beating Urbana 21-0 at halftime.

The Arrows’ defense has been dominant. They’ve allowed 54 rushing and 18 passing yards.

Tecumseh had three drives in the first half, and scored a TD on all three possessions. Dustin Holmes, Zeke Eier and Riley Gault each scored a touchdown and Karson Williams is 3-for-3 on extra points.

  • Tecumseh is up 21-0 after Riley Gault jumped over the line for a 1-yard TD run.

Urbana’s got 2:12 to try to score before halftime. Tecumseh’s defense has been too fast for the Hillclimbers so far.

  • With 8:46 left in the second quarter, Zeke Eier scored from 7 yards out. Karson Williams hit the extra point for a 14-0 Tecumseh lead.

The Arrows have been more physical on defense so for. Urbana’s having trouble moving the bal.

AFTER ONE QUARTER: Tecumseh 7, Urbana 0.

Riley Gault hooked up with a 48-yard pass to Dustin Holmes to start Tecumseh’s first drive. Holmes ran for a 4-yard run for the TD.

  • I’ll be posting live scores and analysis from the Urbana and Tecumseh football game on Friday, Sept. 18.

Tecumseh’s about to kick off. The Hillclimbers are missing QB Seth Young and RB/DB Anthony Marino due to injuries.
