Graham High School’s David Taylor has won the 2009 Dave Schultz National Award presented by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum.

The award is given annually to a high school senior who shows outstanding wrestling success, scholastic achievement and citizenship or community service. It’s named after Schultz, a wrestling hall of famer who won an Olympic gold medal in 1984.

Taylor became the 17th wrestler in Ohio to win four state titles. He finished his career 180-2 and became the first wrestler to win the Walsh Jesuit Ironman tournament four times.
