Two local schools will use President’s Day to make up the large number of calamity days this year.
Triad Local Schools in Champaign County and Greenon Local Schools in Clark County will both be in session Monday, Feb. 16.
All the other Clark and Champaign county schools will be closed that day; most are planning to add days at the end of the calendar to make up any missed days above the allotted five.
September’s massive power outage due to a wind storm caused the days to pile up for local districts this year.
