It’s about a month from the start of school — and for many, the start of kindergarten.
Many parents worry about what it means for their child to be kindergarten ready, especially parents of children who have not participated in a preschool or daycare program.
Kindergarten readiness is much more a matter of social skills than education knowledge. Here’s a helpful checklist for you to look at to see if your child is ready for kindergarten and what skills he or she may need to work on before the big day.
