Summer learning returns today! My apologies for the absence but I was out sick for a few days.
If your kids are anything like the ones in my family, the pool is a favorite summer destination. But just because your child will be on the water slide doesn’t mean he has to be on the summer slide too.
Have your child hypothesize whether items will float in the water or sink and discuss the results and why. Use measuring cups to demonstrate the concept of volume. Bring along a book for your child to read during the 15 minute adult swim sessions each hour.
And, of course, emphasize pool safety!
