Northwestern narrows candidates

Five applicants will move forward in the Northwestern schools search for a new superintendent, the district announced today.

The candidates are: Tammy Carnahan, Greenon schools assistant superintendent; Al Haschack, director of business for Mount Vernon City schools; Steven D. Miller; educational consultant/planner for Freytag & Associates (architects) and retired Sidney schools superintendent; Anthony T. Orr, assistant superintendent, Huber Heights City Schools; and Bernadette Pachmeyer. superintendent of Riverside Local Schools.
