JoEtta Cooper, the project manager for the North-South consolidation project, will be the interim campus director for Springfield High School’s pilot year.
Cooper has worked with staff, students and community members throughout the project and was also part of the team working with EdWorks, the consulting firm that designed the small school concept for SHS.
Interim Superintendent Don Thompson said he has recommended that the board launch a national search for a permanent campus director in conjunction with the search planned to hire a permanent superintendent.
More in tomorrow’s News-Sun.

Mr.Thompson, you are sadly mistake. She did a horrible, inadequate job while at North at $375. PER DAY, fellow taxpayers!! Speak out, this is an outrage, fellow parents/community people. She does not belong in the high school area, let alone to “fill in”.
