Dayton mentioned in new Clooney flick

George Clooney’s new film about presidential politics and scandal is set in and was filmed mostly in Cincinnati.

But the recently released film “The Ides of March” does give attention to this city.

The Dayton Daily News print edition appears in a few scenes, and a C-SPAN aired debate is held at the “Dayton Community College.”

You also may catch some familiar faces in the film. Numerous people from this part of the state were used as extras. A few have speaking roles.

Watch for the Cincinnati landmarks.

Ryan Gosling plays a staffer for a Democratic candidate for president portrayed by Clooney.

The film is now in theaters.

What do you think?
