National Taco Day: Where’s your favorite area place?

In case you haven’t heard, today is National Taco Day.

This has me thinking about Taqueria Mixteca (1609 East 3rd St, Dayton) and its muy delicioso tacos.

The tacos are $2 each and come in corn tortillas with a lime wedge, cilantro, onion, and choice of meat - chicken, beef tongue, chorizo, ground beef, carnitas, etc.

Tacos are authentic and far from anything you can get at Taco Bell.

Then again, Taco Bell doesn’t exactly have tongue on the menu does it.

Where is your favorite place for tacos in the area. It is OK to say Taco Bell.

What do you think?

I agree that Taqueria Mixteca has the best tacos in the area, by far. Their carnitas tacos are unreal. I am in there at least once a week for a taco fix. Oh, and their red pepper sauce on the tacos takes things to a whole different level of flavor and heat. Awesome.
