Ohioians big on flirting, state second in study
There’s a lot of “winking” around here.
The Buckeye State is the second flirtiest state in the union, according to a social networking site.
Ohio falls just behind New Jersey when it comes to flirtation behavior, Tagged.com says.
Based in San Francisco, Tagged has more than 100 million members in 220 countries. It allows people to “meet” and socialize with new people through social games, customized profiles, virtual gifts and browsing features.
The company examined more than 2 million Americans and their online flirting or “winking” habits in June 2011.
Our flirting status apparently has a bit to do with population.
Researchers suggest Ohio made second place study because the state contains several major American cities and seven metropolitan areas with populations of 500,000 or more.
