Dairy Queen hopes to donate millions to children hospitals
From Meredith Moss Staff Writer
Last year on its Miracle Treat Day, the folks at Dairy Queen raised nearly $5 million for 170 Children’s Miracle network hospitals.
More than $14,000 was raised in the Miami Valley. The fifth annual event is slated for Thursday, Aug. 11 and $1 or more from every Blizzard sold that day in our area will benefit Dayton Children’s.
The featured Blizzard of the Day will be the Oreo Cookie which still reigns as the most popular flavor since 1985 when it was introduced.
