Local bar named to top 60 in the world

Downtown Dayton’s Club Masque can move with the best of them.

“Out” magazine lists the club at 34 N Jefferson St. among 60 best gay bars in the world.

It is one of only three on the list in the Midwest category. Adonis in Cincinnati is the only other Ohio club to make the list that also includes venues in Prague, San Francisco, Miami and New York.

Here’s what the magazine says about Masque on its website:

“Trannies, drag queens and kings, lesbians, gays, bis, and heteros dance the night away under one roof. Strippers, amazing drag shows, reasonably priced drinks, and theme nights hosted by talented DJs.”
