Company to offer free smoothie Friday
Tropical Smoothie is encouraging its customers to get floppy.
The company will offer those who wear flip flops to its stores a free 24 oz. Jetty Punch smoothie to celebrate the fifth anniversary of National Flip Flop Day tomorrow, Friday, June 17.
The first 500 people at each location will receive one of the chilly treats.
The national franchise company is also attempting to raise money for a haven for sick children.
It will donate a portion of a sale of one of its top selling smoothies - the Sunrise Sunset - to Camp Sunshine.
The Casco, Maine non-profit hosts children with life-threatening illnesses and their families with aims of alleviating their stress and strain.
The Sunrise Sunset is a blend of strawberries, pineapple, orange and mango.
Tropical Smoothie has locations in Oakwood, Centerville, Beavercreek, Fairborn, Springboro and West Chester.
