Bridezillas to film area woman at Washington Twp. salon
A “bridezilla” is set to roll into a Washington Twp. Tuesday.
An area woman being filmed by We-TV’s hit show “Bridezillas” has a noon appointment for a manicure, pedicure and massage at Affinity Salon & Day Spa, 5547 Far Hills Ave., manager Peggy Gallousis said.
Gallousis did not reveal the bridezilla’s name, but said she sounded very nice on the phone and will be treated like any other client.
Salon workers are Gallousis looking forward to the taping.
“It should be really interesting to see how they do it,” Gallousis said.
This will not be the first time the a Bridezillas crew has followed a local bride-to-be through the ups and downs of getting down the aisle.
Alexandria McCauley of Dayton appeared on the show in August.
New episodes of Bridezillas are set to begin in June.
What do you think?
Much is made of the crazy bride, but does planning a wedding drive you nuts?

Washington Twp. woman gets billboard for her birthday
When Sally Royer of Washington Twp. said she wanted something “big” for her birthday she probably wasn’t thinking of a billboard.
But that’s exactly what the social worker for Miamisburg City Schools received.
Her husband, Bob Royer, surprised her with the sign in the 1220 block of Patterson Boulevard Saturday on the way to her birthday party at the Oregon Express in Dayton’s Historic Oregon District. Sally Royer’s actual 50th birthday was Friday.
The billboard show Royer in her eighth grade glory with the words: “Oh no.. Say it isn’t so. Sally’s Turning the Big 5-0.”
Bob Royer, president of BHA Pianocenter, replaced a billboard advertising his business with one the one for his wife.
He says his wife has always been proud of her eighth grade photo. It was taken shortly after her braces were removed and shows her with a fresh shag hair cut and tinted oval glasses.
The Royers will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in August. They have three children.
What do you think?
Would you want your name on a billboard?
