Team auctions date with strapping young player

Ever dreamed of dating a striking young chap who scores big on a sheet of ice?

Well, here is your chance.

The Dayton Gems hockey team is offering fans the chance to win a date with forward Kyle Bochek.

Bochek learned recently that he is the prize in the first “Win a Date with a Gems Player” auction.

The auction ends on Sunday. The date will take place on Tuesday, the day after Valentine’s Day.

Click here to bid on Bochek.

The winning bidder will be picked up by a limousine. Bochek will present a bouquet to the winner at the fan’s front door. The evening will include a dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Dayton and ice skating at RiverScape MetroPark.

The winning bidder must live within 20 miles of Hara Arena to be picked up for the date. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go toward the Noble Circle Project, which offers free wellness retreats to cancer patients and the Women’s Wellness Fund at the Kettering Medical Center.
