Dayton Drag queen to compete on upcoming Rupaul show
Let’s hope that India Ferrah doesn’t have to lip-sync for her life.
The Dayton professional drag queen will compete on the third season of LOGO’s “Rupaul’s Drag Race” set to premiere 10:30 p.m. Jan. 24.
Contestants vie for the title “America’s Next Drag Superstar” and $75,000 as part of the competition show. The two who score the worst each week must compete in a lip-sync contest.
“I put my all into my illusion, such as, designing and making my own costumes, gowns, mixing my own music, doing my own hair and makeup, as well as helping other entertainers,” Ferrah says on her website.
A drag performer for 11 years, Ferrah has preformed at Club Masque in Dayton and holds several titles including “All American Goddess 2008-2009.”
