Female managers earn less than male managers
She may bring home the bacon, but on average, it is a less than what a man earns in the same job, according to a new study by the U..S. Government Accountability.
Female manager - about 40 percent of all managers - made on average 81 cents for every dollar a man earned in 2007.There was a sign of improvement.
Female workers made 79 cents for every dollar a male earned in 2000.
Female workers were only slightly less educated and were slightly younger - age 45.2. They were less likely to be married.
