I’m commenting from WAY back in the “day”. Our family would vacation at The Breakers Hotel at Cedar Point in the late 50’s/early 60’s. It was wonderful, but realize, I was 7 or 8 years old…but the memory is with me and I remember fun/sand/sunburn/amusement rides/good food/friendly people/comfortable accomodations. I’m 58 now. Funny…memories of simpler times seem to make one smile as one gets older. I suppose it’s the innocence of youth one may want to return to….It’s good to see/hear that Cedar Point has maintained what appears to me to be a good reputation. I’m in Qatar on assignment…too late for summer in Ohio on the lake. Guess what? I’ll be taking my Grandaughter & Grandson there next summer with Grandma. They’re 6 & 7 years old. I hope they have the same memories I have.

I have been going to Cedar Point for many years. It’s always a fun 3 day weekend. The last 3 years I have taken my teenaged daughter and son by myself. It makes for a great “Mom and Me” time. It’s great. I turned 50 this year and love the coasters as much as I did as a teenager. The Maverick and Millenium Force are awesome. We are excited to be going back in October for the Halloween fest this year. And looking forward to next summer for another trip to Cedar Point and Put In Bay, which is also a “must do” when you come to Sandusky.

I remember fondly visiting Cedar Point since as a young child from Michigan. The park still is evolving. Went back a couple weeks ago and still really enjooyed it despite no longer being fond the the roller coasters I loved as a teenager.

depends on ur definition of a great park. if all ur looking at is big rides..then sure..thumbs up to c-point. but it is not a very good experience..long lines..no atmosphere. not the best park at all. not everyone loves the latest big ride. a park needs to offer much more to be the best.
