Chad Ochocinco launches new cereal - get ready for OCHOCINCO’S

Wheaties meaties, Chad Ochocinco wants you to eat your OCHOCINCO’S.

The Cincinnati Bengal and “Dancing with the Stars” alum has launched his very own honey nut toasted oat cereal with the help of PLB Sports, Inc., a Pittsburgh based food marketing company.

OCHOCINCO’S is being billed as the only cereal featuring the All-Pro Wide Receiver will be officially introduced during a press conference 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7,at the Kroger Marketplace store in Newport, KY.

The cereal will be sold in a in a 14 oz box featuring the black and orange of the Bengals and available in Kroger stores in the Cincinnati market which includes Dayton.

Ochocinco (the football player) has been milking his success (pun very much included) on the field.

After his stint on Dancing with the Stars, he launched his dating reality show on VH1. “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch” follows the football star as he searches for love.

Established in 1996, PLB Sports is behind several other sports related cereals, including Flutie Flakes featuring then Buffalo quarterback Doug Flutie.

Honestly, I have had enough of this showboating chump. He’s not even that great of a player to be acting like he’s Michael Jordan or something. If you spent more time on the field practing instead of prancing around tooting your own horn, maybe you’d have a SuperBowl ring.

This guy is awesome - he is just taking advantage of the small window of opportunity most of us will never get. I think he is hilarious - just what a conservative town like Cincinnati needs. He has never been in trouble with the law (unless you call the NFL the law), is a good citizen, promotes the city and is a pretty darn good receiver. I say let him have his fun and hopefully this is the year they get to the big game in Dallas. I, for one, am an Ochocinco fan, no matter how corny he may be.
