Air Force Marathon sells out half and full runs
The Air Force Marathon had achieved a victory.
For the first time in its 14-year history, the marathon set for Saturday, Sept. 18, at the National Museum of the United States Air Force has sold out all spots for both the half and full marathons.
It surpassed the longtime goal of 10,000 registered runners for all races and had 10,872 runners registered by Thursday, Aug. 19.
There are 3,000 runners registered for the marathon and 5,000 for the half marathon.
There is still room for 500 runners for the 10K run on Sept. 18 at the museum and 900 spaces for the 5K hosted by Wright State University and the Air Force Marathon Sept. 17 at the Ervin J. Nutter Center.
